Registration procedure

  • Click here to register online

  • You will be required to submit your correspondence details and to indicate any special requirements you may have.

  • Be sure to select the correct type of registration: Standard, Community or Scholarship. Please note your registration will not be processed if you register under a category where you do not meet the criteria.

  • If required, be sure to select the correct registration fee.

  • Please indicate which social events you wish to attend and add any accompanying person’s details.

  • Please make your payment online by credit or debit card.

  • You will receive an automated confirmation of your registration via email.

  • Alternatively, please complete the hard copy registration form available below and return it with your payment to the Conference Organiser.

Registration rates and policies


Full conference registration (Section A) includes access to all scientific sessions, satellite symposia, the exhibition area, refreshments and lunch throughout the conference. Please reserve a ticket for any social event you wish to attend by ticking the appropriate boxes on the registration form and making payment of any necessary fees. All registered delegates will receive a copy of the final programme and abstract book in their delegate packs, which will be handed out at the conference.

Registration rates are published on the registration form. The standard registration fee applies only if both the registration form and payment are received by 1700 on 13 January 2017 deadline. Payment should be made in sterling and cheques made payable to BHIVA. BHIVA members can take advantage of the discounted registration rates along with those applying for BHIVA at the time of registering. All industry and commercial employees will need to register at the industry rate regardless of whether or not they are BHIVA members.

It remains the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that payment by any trust or department is received by the Conference Organisers by the due date. Please note that it is the policy of the Conference Organisers not to invoice delegates for individual registrations. Confirmations of registration, including receipt of payment will be sent after registrations have been fully processed and payment has been received.

Group registration

Sponsors and agencies that would like to register a group of delegates (more than 10) may do so using the group registration form that can be downloaded below. Please read the terms and conditions carefully.

Press registration

Reporters wishing to attend the conference must apply for Press Registration in advance of conference. Guidance Notes for all mainstream, community-based and other media organisations can be downloaded below.

Terms and conditions of individual registration

Whilst all endeavours will be made to present the programme as advertised, the British HIV Association reserve the right to make modifications to the programme and administrative arrangements in the event of special circumstances. If the conference cannot be held for any reason, liability will be limited to a refund of 75% of the pre-paid registration fee. The British HIV Association will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations or in the event that the conference is cancelled. Delegates are advised to take out their own insurance to cover their losses in such an eventuality.

  • Processing of your personal data
    Information provided by you on the registration form will be processed by Mediscript Ltd and used for the purposes of providing the goods and services ordered by you, and for billing and accounts. In addition, it may be used for sending you information about future conferences and events along with other services and offers. We may also allow limited third-party mailings from organisations where we believe their services may be of interest to you.   • Replacements/cancellation
    Replacements of confirmed registrations are subject to a 10% administrative charge. Providing that written notice of cancellation is received by 17 February 2017, 75% of your total payment will be returned. No refunds will be made for any cancellations after this date.
