BHIVA’s General Medicine Course is an opportunity for HIV/GU physicians to hear what’s new in the ever-changing world of medicine.
The programme will centre around recent updates and advice on various specialities to help clinicians in the management of people living with HIV in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The topics for the 2024/2025 courses will be different to those in 2022/2023, changing again in 2026 on a 2-year rolling basis.
Some recent feedback from attendees:
“Very impressive that you collated summaries throughout the day, so nobody missed out from any key points of the sessions not attended.”
“Very worthwhile and focused day.”
“All speakers excellent. Structure of day excellent, well planned and ran well.”
Delegates attended as many 60-min workshops as possible on a rotation through the day but receive handouts for all workshops.
The course is open to BHIVA members and non-members in the following groups:
Consultants
Staff grade and associate specialists and speciality doctors
Speciality trainees
Clinical fellows
Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Registration will open via this website in due course.
Medical staff in career grade posts, who are enrolled with a Royal Medical College for CPD, will be entitled to receive CPD credits at the rate of one per course hour. CPD credits will be applied for, and further information will be available in the course joining information.
