It is nearly time for National HIV Testing Week. This event runs from 18-24 November, 2017 and is a great opportunity to encourage HIV testing to reduce late diagnosis.

Last year, the National HIV Testing Week campaign was very successful: 320 organisations got involved, over 64,000 people followed the campaign through social media and more than 20,000 orders for HIV postal testing kits were generated.

You can get involved by:

  • Organising local testing events in clinics and as a part of outreach in community settings

  • Registering your events to be promoted in your local area: http://www.aidsmap.com/nhtw

  • Ordering FREE testing week resources – including posters, stickers, and information leaflets

  • Sharing National HIV Testing Week social media content to all public networks

  • From the NHTW Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/NationalHivTestingWeek/?fref=ts

  • Using the #HIVtestweek twitter/facebook handle

  • Using the social media template pack available from this website

For more details, see the campaign briefings.
