BHIVA Primary Care Project

If you work with people who have HIV (PLHIV) in a medical, nursing or peer support capacity, we would like to invite you to take part in a short informal interview about your work. This study will help us understand the different models of care that exist in the UK for PLHIV, with a particular focus on the involvement of primary care. The aim of this project is to find out how best to support primary care to provide general practice services to PLHIV. It will help us make recommendations to provide a better service.

If you decide to take part, please email the researcher ([email protected]) to arrange a convenient time for the interview. This will take about 30 minutes and will be over the phone.

Alternatively, if you are a GP and wish to fill out a 5 minute questionnaire instead, entitled ‘Shared care, How do we do it?’ please click on the link below:

The results will be available online here by the end of year 2016.
