Sexual Health Information Exchange (SHIE)

Tuesday 13 October 2015

The Sexual Health Information Exchange (SHIE) has been running for just over one year now and the Department of Health are keen to expand membership of this resource.

The objective of the SHIE is to provide a platform to facilitate information sharing for those involved in the promotion and delivery across the full range of Sexual Health services. The SHIE enables the Department to issue alerts and news of interest, to share policy documents and publications (from DH and external partners), and to provide links to a range of organisations involved in the field of sexual health. The SHIE is an interactive site and members are able to post and share information on the range of sexual health issues; the Department of Health are keen to encourage the sharing of good practice and case studies from a local perspective.

The SHIE is private and can only be accessed by members only. In order to join the SHIE, an e-mail request should be sent to [email protected]; names will be added to the membership list and an invitation to join will be issued.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about the SHIE, then please send an e-mail to [email protected] or call 0207 210 6212.
