BHIVA developed a one-day course for GU / HIV Physicians on Inpatient General Medicine. The course focused on managing medical issues arising in inpatients with HIV. The course was open to a limited number of delegates and contained six interactive workshops (see final programme). The intention was for each delegate to attend all workshops. Each workshop was facilitated by an HIV-specialist and a non-HIV specialist.

The course was held at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) in London.
