HIV Medicine is the official journal of the British HIV Association (BHIVA) and the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), and is published by Wiley-Blackwell. HIV Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal publishing original articles, reviews and guidelines on all aspects of HIV treatment and diagnosis. The journal is specifically aimed at researchers and clinicians with responsibility for treating HIV-infected persons.


Aims and Scope

HIV Medicine aims to provide an alternative outlet for publication of international research papers in the field of HIV Medicine, embracing clinical, pharmacological, epidemiological, ethical, preclinical and in vitro studies.  In addition, the journal will commission reviews and other feature articles.  It will focus on evidence-based medicine as the mainstay of successful management of HIV and AIDS.

2010 ISI Journal Citations Reports
HIV Medicine achieved an impact factor of 3.575 in the 2010 ISI Journal Citations Reports (up from 2.878 in 2009) ranking the Journal 17/58 titles in the ISI Infectious Diseases subject category.  This is the Journal’s highest ever score.
